This website database launched by EU Transparency and the Pew Environment Group, presents detailed data on many billions of euro of EU subsidies to ports and fishing vessels, from 1994 to 2006.
Following the model of farmsubsidy.org, it is hoped that fishsubsidy.org will stimulate a better informed debate about the rights and wrongs of the EU’s common fisheries policy. Find out more
